Jodi Netzer (Drexel University, BS, 1997) is a multi-talented Performing/Visual Artist, Event Organizer, Graphic Designer, Video Maker, and Life & Business Coach. She is the CEO of GoGoKarma LLC, a personal improvement and community engagement company, and is the Director of Tucson Entrepreneurs. From 2009-2014, Jodi was the Director of Outreach & Marketing, Director of Events, and Director of the Dance Theater Program of Tucson Arts Brigade (TAB), a community arts and civic engagement organization. Jodi was Founder/Director of TAB’s “THE WATER FESTIVAL: Synergy of Art, Science, and Community”. The festival brought thousands of community members together to creatively engage in water issues from various perspectives though multi-dimensional programming: workshops, exhibitors, panels, brainstorms, performances, art show, film festival, kids activities, cross-cultural/interfaith water rituals, and more. Among her many other achievements, Jodi was Art Director of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, created The Bumpin’ Big Top circus, performed at conferences and museums, and has been granted several awards, including from the PA Council on the Arts, AZ Commission on the Arts, Leeway Foundation, Puffin Foundation, and Dance Advance. Jodi taught puppetry and stilt-dancing at Bread & Puppet Theater and continues to teach workshops incorporating all of her extensive, eclectic dance/theatre and coaching experiences acquired by expert mentors from around the world. In both solo and group projects, Jodi works with themes of interconnectivity, wellness, enviro-socio-political awareness, and arts advocacy for building creative and symbiotic communities.
